Glynn Bates

General Manager, Operations


Mr. Bates joined Fraction Energy Services Ltd. in July 2016 bringing 13 years’ oilfield experience to his role as General Manager, Operations. He started his oil patch career on drilling rigs before going back to pursue post-secondary education. He has since held positions as a Completions Engineer at Quicksilver Resources and Water Management Coordinator at Progress Energy. Mr. Bates has graduated from both SAIT with a Diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology as well as from the University of Regina where he obtained his Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Petroleum Systems Engineering.

Craig Brooks

Base Manager - Fort St. John


Mr. Brooks’ enthusiasm and passion for collaborative team-building serve him well in his current role. He is responsible for ensuring the daily field operations of the Fort St. John base are carried out safely and efficiently. In addition, as Fraction’s dedicated First Nations Liaison, Craig seeks out engagement with First Nations and Aboriginal entities that demonstrate the integrity and core values of Fraction and our clients in the communities in which we operate.  Prior to joining Fraction in November 2013, Craig was Operations Manager at Patch Point Energy Services, part of the Big Country Energy Services Group of Companies.

Taylor Langford

Division Manager - Grande Prairie


Taylor Langford has been a key member of our Operations Group since July 2015. He has a strong work ethic and a commitment to growth and development, which he’s demonstrated in the positions he’s held prior to, and since joining Fraction. His responsibilities increased rapidly throughout the years, including his rise through the Fraction ranks from crew member, to dispatch and operational leader.  Taylor’s many years as a hockey player, coach and instructor have prepared him well for his current role where he is responsible to manage day-to-day operations including planning, scheduling, and execution of projects.  Mr. Langford holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Marian University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from St. Norbert College.
